About Alyssa
I am a self-taught crochet artist with a website and I participate in markets. I am 23 from New York City. I've been crocheting since I was young but I retaught myself in my 20s. I would like to show you all the benefits of crochet. It can aid in anxiety, ADHD, and autism. Being very anxious from young I found crochet as a way to heal and to find something lovely to enjoy.

I have taught several lessons in crochet and amigurumi. It brings me great joy to teach crochet. I will show you how these lessons can help with anxiety, ADHD, and autism. I myself struggled with anxiety and this helped so much. I also am left-handed and can teach left-handed and right-handed. The best thing to start off with is basic stitches (sc, dc, hdc, dec, inc, tr). You will learn abbreviations and technique. Once you learn the basic stitches you can learn amigurumi. My lessons will be taken slow and steady. You will see that it can inspire, calm you, and you can learn a skill that you will love.
