About Lila

I am only one student teaching semester away from becoming a certified secondary Ed ELA teacher. I just graduated from Nicholls State in December of 2023, so I have a lot of fresh knowledge on what is expected in a college level English class. I also have a vast knowledge of different types of essays and writing styles. I can also help with comprehension of classic novels, both American classics and British classics. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions. Lastly, I always try my best to be kind and understanding. Cheers

About the lesson

I have always been a step by step intsruction type of learner. With that being said that is the type of teacher I am! I am very thorough in making sure that you understand what is being asked of you to do in an assignment. I love to make interactive PowerPoints with simple yet strong explanations and instructions. These aren’t your typical boring presentations either. I am open to any suggestions that you may have for me to help you as well.

Lilah is caring and compassionate, her passion for learning is contagious. Empathy and wisdom give her the unique ability to form one-on-one connections sometimes not available in a crowded classroom. Helping her students strengthen their skills and become more confident in achieving their goals is her purpose.
