By way of formal training, I am an aerospace engineer. In my free time however, I am a literature aficionado and read voraciously. Along with reading, I write on a large range of subjects, including fiction. I have found my intermediate degree of experience to be occasionally useful to people and students.

My classes are fun and easygoing where I prioritize bringing out the full creative potential of my student. My teaching style is very student-oriented, and grounded in the student's needs. Depending on the topic, I examine the student's weaknesses and strengths and focus on building a stronger overall ability to read, understand and write. I maintain a flexible structure to the class to help the student learn at their pace. My classes are generally intended for middle and high school students but I am also open to teaching college students.
