About Yaara
Hey guys, I'm Yaara, I'm 43 years old, and live in Binyamina city, Israel (central-north part of Israel) - a very beautiful and peaceful place. I have a BA in anthropology and an MA in East Asian studies from Tel Aviv University, and before that I learned a little bit of many things (literature, writing video editing, education, ecology), and worked a little bit in each one of those... And all along got the privilege also to be a tutor for kids and youth in different fields. Now I focus on adults and on Hebrew. Why? Because it's fun and paying well. I really do enjoy the culture exchange involved, and I find inspiring content to dive into together. I also love this beautiful language. They say in the Kabbalah God used it to create the world. Who am I to argue? If you feel connected to these ideas - let's enjoy it together! :)

I try my best to adjust to the students, not only your Hebrew level but also your style, and your hobbies. We begin the lesson usually with some Hello's and how was your week, then we learn something interesting, a song or a cool sentence in Hebrew, then we go over some basic rules/vocabulary - depends on our study plan, and we end up with a quick repetition on what we did last week. Each person gets motivated from other things, some from accomplishments, some from inspiring ideas and text, some from music. So we'll figure out together what gets you going and focus our energy there.
