I am a HCPC-registered Specialist Haemato-Oncology Dietitian with over three years of professional experience, currently working at University College London Hospitals. Holding a First-Class Honours BSc Dietetics degree from the University of Hertfordshire, I have cultivated a deep understanding of the field and the skills required for success. Since graduation, I have gained extensive expertise across various specialties and settings, including bariatrics, oncology, haematology, and care of the elderly, working in both acute and community environments. This broad experience allows me to provide valuable insights and practical advice tailored to your learning needs. As someone actively involved in supporting students during their placements, I’m well-versed in the current dietetics degree programme and can help you navigate its challenges. Teaching Techniques & Methodology I use a student-focused approach to ensure effective learning. My sessions incorporate: Case-based learning to link theory with real-world practice. Scenario-based problem-solving to enhance critical thinking and decision-making. Individualised feedback to address specific areas for improvement. Interactive discussions to deepen understanding and build confidence. My teaching is tailored to meet your unique goals, whether it’s mastering academic content, preparing for placements, or developing professional skills. Lesson Format Typical lessons last 1 hour; however, this is flexible depending on your needs and preferences. Remote sessions are scheduled outside of my working hours and can be scheduled flexibly to fit your timetable. Qualifications & Experience In addition to my clinical expertise, I have hands-on experience mentoring dietetic students during placements. I’m familiar with the structure of dietetics degree programmes and the challenges students face, equipping me to provide relevant and practical support. Who Are the Lessons For? My tutoring is ideal for dietetics students at all levels—whether you’re starting out, preparing for placements, or advancing your professional skills. Lessons are open to university students of all ages and anyone pursuing a career in dietetics.
