About Anna
I am a professional illustrator/university lecturer and passionate about helping others achieve their creative ambitions. I have a degree in Fine Art, Chelsea School of Art and a Masters, Cambridge School of Art and 15 years' lecturing experience in illustration. I also run a successful illustration agency named How Do You Do Illustration Agency Ltd. I have worked as a professional illustrator under the name Anna Wray for 18 years, mainly in editorial, publishing and advertising, clients include Waitrose Magazine, The New York Times, The Financial Times, Usborne children's books and many more. I also paint landscapes under my married name Anna Hardinge. I have also written a book on the creative process named 'Handmade Graphics, Beyond The Mouse,' published by Rotovision.

What does the hour include? -Relaxed and friendly portfolio review and initial chat about your creative goals. -Each week I will set a project or exercise to help you master a particular aspect of your work that you would like to work on, we will work on this exercise together during the session. In general all tutorials will include; -Colour theory -Composition -Concept -Tone -Narrative I can give tailored advice on editorial illustration, children's book publishing, illustration for advertising and how to organise your portfolio to attract clients. Age range: 16 plus Lessons: 1 hour
