About Raphael

I have had many years of physics and tutored this subject to students from high school to grad school. I’ve taught engineering students and high school kids alike. Whether it’s basic kinematics like position, velocity and acceleration equations, or electricity and magnetism, I got you. Practice makes perfect, but a really good explanation from a decent tutor, goes a loooong way.

About the lesson

I teach a lot of AP and college physics. Usually, I am answering word problems and demonstrating strategies to approach and solve them. I tend to highlight keywords from the question that imply the reader to perform certain actions, or illustrate techniques like drawing free-body diagrams for illustrating the most important concepts. It’s a challenging subject, but definitely doable. So what are we waiting for?

Perfect! Can't recommend Raphael enough! My children 7 and 9 actually LOVE their physics, chemistry, and math lessons with him. Raphael is able to take complicated and difficult science subjects and make them really FUN and engaging for all ages. Raphael takes time to prepare and then share detailed notes afterward reviewing what they have covered. Raphael is not an incredibly gifted STEM teacher, but he is also very friendly, incredibly reliable, easy to reach, and flexible. I hope they can keep working with Raphael forever!

Wow! Amanda’s children are super geniuses! What a fun time I had teaching/reviewing lines, parabolas, factoring, and the foil method with a 7 & 9 year old. I’m impressed by their comprehension, attention span, positive attitudes and ability to soak up information like a sponge. Super-awesome.
