"Does your hand feel like a claw when you attempt to switch between challenging chords? Many people struggle with efficiency because they are gripping the neck too tightly or misplacing their fingers, so we focus on relaxing the tension first. I draw on my 9 years of experience to demonstrate how precise hand positioning makes lead guitar and blues progressions accessible to absolute beginners.

We work through the mechanics of fingerpicking and power chords, ensuring that every movement serves a musical purpose for the performance-focused students I train. Reading sheet music and tabs becomes much clearer once we apply the ear training techniques I developed throughout my own formal education. The path towards technical fluency involves steady, incremental adjustments to your physical approach."

"Standing in a quiet studio with a student who just conquered a difficult barre chord remains the highlight of my week. My teaching style is warm and patient, focusing on the mechanical precision required to master lead guitar and intricate blues progressions. During my time at the Royal Northern College of Music, I learnt that structured practice creates the most reliable results for working professionals. Over the last 9 years of experience, I have helped 398 students navigate everything from basic power chords to complex fingerpicking patterns.

It is rewarding to watch a student transition from struggling with tabs to reading sheet music with genuine confidence. I enjoy seeing the exact moment that ear training clicks, allowing a student to play what they hear in their head. The process of breaking down technical hurdles for absolute beginners is truly the most enjoyable part of my job."
