About Maria
Thermodynamics and kinematics are simple once you visualize the invisible forces at play. I have taught 128 students during my 5 years of work in the field. I bring practical lab experience and conceptual rigor to every topic including electrostatics. Sometimes it is helpful to look at how these laws apply to the real world of engineering.
My background includes a Master of Science in Data Science from UC Berkeley and 13 years as a quant. Competition prep is a significant part of what I do for those aiming for JEE, NEET, or Olympiads. I approach teaching from a neurodivergent-affirming perspective. It is nice to meet you.

The first session begins with the smell of dry-erase markers and the scratch of a pen against a whiteboard. We will map out your current knowledge gaps using 5 years of my professional background in engineering. I use my Master of Science in Data Science from UC Berkeley to explain complex physical relationships through data. You will engage with practical lab scenarios to see how thermodynamics or electrostatics function in physical space.
