I have over 12 years in coaching kids ages 3-12 in Drama and Public speaking. I also coach adults in public speaking, presentations, doctor exams. My goal is to make you feel confident.

Selma helped me with my professional exams (medical OSCEs- timed acting exams).
She helped me so much with my confidence through a lot of different exercises and helped me to find my inner confidence (and spirit animal- a bear)! We experimented with loads of different approaches to approaching a scene or improvising with a scene partner. She helped me to troubleshoot issues with my delivery and how I expressed or communicated myself. She helped to put me in the right mindset and gave me tips on how to bring that frame of mind into the exam. Selma helped me so much with a recent audition, with exercises that allowed me to experiment and play freely, unlocking new ways of approaching my character. More importantly, she created a safe environment for me to trust my instincts and not be afraid to just go for it. Especially being a newer actor, there’s so much that Selma could break down easily for me to understand and respond to.

I have no acting experience before joining this class, and I wasn’t sure what to expect.

I’ve directed Selma in multiple productions and she is an extremely talented performer. She has fantastic range and depth - a rare quality in a performer to have both - and has a “yes and” attitude. I wish more actors I direct are like her. She collaborates really well and it would be a privilege to be taught by her.
