About Andrej
I obtained a Ph.D. degree in chemistry at Bowling Green State University. More specifically, my area of expertise is organic chemistry, and I find tremendous joy in teaching it. I was a teaching assistant for 5 years during my graduate school. I was teaching general chemistry and organic chemistry. These would include teaching laboratory sessions, recitations, and sometimes main lectures (organic chemistry). In addition, I was tutoring organic chemistry and helped undergraduate students gain an understanding of organic chemistry concepts.

Mine main teaching goal is to ensure that students understand the concepts and not just give an infinite list of problems to solve. Problem solving skills and ability to critically think, are the results of proper understanding. I am very patient with students as I think that they need to have enough time to think and understand the topic. I tutor undergraduate students and occasionally high school students.
