My teaching method consists in analyzing individual works by studying them first with the eyes and then with the texts. The aim is to accustom the student to see and recognize the details that characterize the style of an artist or of a period. In this way you will acquire the ability to analyze an artwork that you don't know just through visual "clues".
It is not necessary to study many difficult explanations but it is necessary to observe a lot and to be curious because every artwork must be read as a compelling book.
