I have a B.S. in Human Physiology and M.S. in Biomedical Science. I teach all biology-related courses and help students plan and organize their coursework in order to achieve their academic success.

About Mason
-In the past, I was extremely afraid of seeking help and how that might make me look, and that made some classes more difficult than they needed to be. So, I understand the fear of going into an environment where people feel they may look 'dumb', but I want to assure people, that will never be the case while working with me.
-I also provide a unique perspective, in that I have taken the same courses, or courses very similar to, the courses that I am helping with. Due to that, I am able to help emphasize important concepts and common areas of confusion.
-I truly enjoy the topics that I help with. Therefore, if there are instances in which a topic or question is unanswered, I enjoy the opportunity to seek and find clarification in order to make sure we reach a conclusion.

-I am a nonjudgemental and patient person, so anyone can feel welcome to come to receive tutoring in an open and stress-free (as stress-free as learning some of this information can be) environment.
-I have a strong understanding of biochemistry, biology (and related subcategories), as well as anatomy and physiology. I work with undergraduate, and masters-level students, as well as upper-level high school students!
-My approach is very individualized and adapts to fit the needs of each student I work with. The first time a student and I meet, we will identify their strengths and weaknesses, areas of concern, and goals for their class. From that, I am able to create a tutoring experience that will best fit the student and set us up for success.
-While I enjoy helping people learn, I also enjoy helping people plan and organize their learning in order to help facilitate their success, for those interested.
