About Sherlyn

Hello! My name is Sherlyn, and I am a dedicated and passionate Montessori teacher with a strong commitment to nurture the development of children. I hold a diploma in E.C.D (Early Childhood Development). I have been trained in the Montessori method to encourage independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love for learning. My experience includes working with children of all ages and adults where I guide them through individually prepared assignments and practical life exercises tailored to their developmental stage. Some of my key skills include: Classroom management based on respect and positive discipline Observing and assessing individual learning styles and progress Creating a calm, organized, and stimulating learning environment Communicating effectively with parents and caregivers Patience, empathy, and a deep understanding of child psychology I particularly enjoy creating learning activities, storytelling, art and craft sessions, and introducing children to nature and practical life exercises that encourage real-world understanding. Outside of teaching, I enjoy [your personal interests – swimming, reading, gardening and exploring nature, which often inspire creative ideas I bring into the classroom. As a Montessori educator, my goal is to help each child become confident, independent, and compassionate.

About the lesson

I believe that we as adults, people and children all have our own way of understanding and learning. I teach with patience and like to work around what makes my learners comfortable. I also have a creative spark and love making lessons fun. I have taught in a preschool for 2 years where I managed my own classroom and created my own lesson plans. I have also worked in a special needs school. My lessons can be short, simple and fun or depending on what you prefer.
