About Ivan
I am easy-going and patient, but also thorough and serious when it comes to my lesson plans. I have over 10 years of experience as a tutor in French, writing , and ESL, and my main objective continues to be putting together lessons that are both effective and accessible to the students. I don't want to bore or overwhelm students; I want them to enjoy and get something substantial out of the experience.

I prefer to work one-one-one and at a pace that suits the particular student. I am detail-oriented but patient, and I think integrating a student's interests outside of the subject matter at hand can be helpful to a successful lesson plan. Most importantly, I don't want to intimidate or alienate my students, and want the lesson plans to be both fun and serious.
