About McKenna
I have taught middle school English for seven years at Title I middle schools with students who vary significantly in academic abilities. I was born and raised in Reno, NV where I went to college at The University of Nevada, Reno and got a bachelor's in Secondary Education with English and I obtained a master's degree in curriculum and instruction from WGU.

Typical lesson plans start with some kind of opening task and/ or discussion followed by diving deep into whatever subject students need help on in an engaging way.
