About Orla
I attended both the Junior Academy of Music and the School of Music in Belfast from the age of 6. I completed my grade 8 violin and flute diploma 2 years ago. I have been teaching violin, flute and music theory for almost 3 years. I think music can be really important to young people, not only by learning a new skill but also because it can open up so many new life opportunities for you.

I like to teach music theory alongside instrumental teaching - I think it's important to musical development. I would typically begin with 30 minute lessons, however depending on the level of the student it could be 45 minutes - 1 hour. I have been teaching privately for almost 3 years and am now teaching in the Junior Academy of Music in Belfast
