About Adam
As a gigging professional player, I know what it takes to perform as a solo artist, in an acoustic duo, or in a full band. I have performed and taught at the SPAH Harmonica Convention, the second-largest gathering of players and teachers in the world. In addition to working with individual students, I have had the honor of collaborating with several nonprofit organizations, including The Boys and Girls Club and the Guitars for Heroes program, where I lead free 12-week group classes in harmonica. I serve as an emcee for festivals, and the president of the Dayton Harmonica Club, where I create and coordinate events. This is my full-time job. Fun fact: I also shoot video and drone footage for real estate on the side.

Teaching and playing harmonica is my passion. My lessons are for new and advanced players, including guitar players. A typical lesson focuses on improving technique and playing songs to apply the knowledge. Additionally, students share clips of their playing between lessons. This practical approach is so effective that students are able to have measurable gains. My teaching style is hands-on, encouraging, and rooted in the belief that music should be accessible to everyone—regardless of age, background, or experience level. I bring 18 years of experience to guide you on the path to meet your goals.
