About Dee
I am a passionate and experienced singing tutor with 10 years of teaching college students, and I am dedicated to helping each student discover their true vocal potential. My teaching approach focuses on building a strong foundation in vocal techniques while also encouraging creativity, confidence, and self-expression.
I guide students through essential skills such as breath control, pitch accuracy, tone development, vocal strength, and flexibility, ensuring that they develop a healthy and controlled voice. In addition to technical training, I emphasise performance skills such as stage presence, emotional expression, and audience connection.
I use innovative methods like audio recording, playback analysis, and performance-based exercises to help students clearly track their progress and improve effectively. I also encourage students to explore different music genres, from classical to contemporary, so they can discover their own unique style.
My lessons are personalised, interactive, and supportive, creating a positive learning environment where students can grow confidently and enjoy their musical journey.

My teaching style for Singing combines motivation, communication, creativity, and effective time management to help students achieve their goals. I create a positive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable to improve.
I focus on teaching key vocal techniques such as breathing, pitch accuracy, tone quality, and voice control in a simple and structured way. I maintain open communication so students can ask questions and share their challenges. I use creative teaching methods like vocal exercises, song interpretation, and expressive singing to make lessons engaging.
Each class is well-organised with time for warm-ups, practice, and feedback, ensuring steady improvement. I also review progress regularly. In addition to Singing, I also teach related subjects like music theory, listening skills, and stage confidence.
