About Charmaine
Hi! I’m Charmaine, but you can call me Cha for short. I am a first-year Psychology student from the Philippines. I’m a native Tagalog speaker, and I enjoy helping others learn and become more confident in using the language.
I’m patient, friendly, and willing to adjust my lessons depending on each student’s level and learning goals. I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions and practicing Tagalog without being afraid of making mistakes.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or simply want to improve your Tagalog conversation skills, I’d be happy to help you learn in a simple and enjoyable way!

My Teaching Method
I want my students to learn Tagalog in a simple and enjoyable way. I use easy explanations, examples, conversations, and everyday situations. I also adjust my teaching depending on the student’s level and what they want to learn.
A Typical Lesson
We usually start with a short review of the previous lesson. Then, we learn new words, phrases, or grammar. I give examples and let the student practice through simple conversations and activities. At the end, we review what we learned and talk about what they can practice.
What Makes Me Different
I am patient and easy to talk to. I understand that learning a new language can be difficult, so I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I focus on useful Tagalog that students can actually use in daily conversations.
Who the Lessons Are For
My lessons are for beginners and anyone who wants to improve their Tagalog. Whether you want to learn basic words, practice speaking, understand Filipino expressions, or become more confident in conversations, I can adjust the lessons to your needs.
