About Dr Fawaz
I hold a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Warwick and bring over 25 years of rare, dual-perspective experience across academic research, university lecturing, and enterprise industry leadership.
Most tutors on Superprof fall into one of two categories: university students who know the theory but lack practical software engineering experience, or industry developers who struggle to teach academic mark schemes.
Having served as a Senior Lecturer as well as a Principal Architect and tech executive, I bridge that gap completely. I know precisely how examiners grade papers at GCSE, A-Level, and degree levels, while simultaneously knowing what global tech companies look for when hiring software engineers and cybersecurity specialists.
My background includes publishing over 45 peer-reviewed scientific papers, delivering more than 300 technical talks globally, and building complex real-time software systems. However, my teaching style is completely down-to-earth and zeroed in on your success.
