I am a self-taught bassist and guitarist that has expertise in various methods of learning. I am well-versed in music theory and the styles of finger-style & picking-style electric bass, acoustic guitar strumming & finger-style, heavy metal electric guitar, as well as other stringed instruments such as ukulele, mandolin, 12-string guitar, etc.

I can teach in various ways, but I favor the methods of guitar/bass tablature, chord charts and playing by ear. I tend to stay away from teaching traditional sheet music, as it is less common to come across for free on the internet. I aim to show students how to pick up an instrument and play it at will, without relying on looking at a piece of paper for reference.
