I encourage students to explore music in it's many forms and genres, looking at: classical, blues, jazz, bluegrass, rock and pop music.
I also encourage an interest in interdisciplinary learning, looking at pieces for other instruments (voice, piano, violin, orchestra etc.), to learn about the different "characters" of expression.
