About Chloe
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music and bring 7 years of teaching experience with students of all ages and levels. My background allows me to blend academic training with practical performance, creating lessons that are structured yet engaging. I strive to make learning accessible, motivating, and personally meaningful for every student. Outside of teaching, I have played in live bands, small concerts, and recording sessions, experiences that allow me to share real-world insights with learners. These performances have taught me the importance of stage presence, musical collaboration, and improvisation—all of which I bring into my teaching to prepare students beyond the practice room. As a tutor, I believe in patience, adaptability, and encouragement. My philosophy is that learning guitar should be an inspiring process where progress is celebrated, challenges are overcome, and personal style is nurtured. I aim not just to build technical skill but also to foster a deep connection to music that lasts a lifetime.

My guitar lessons are designed to balance structure and creativity, helping students progress step by step while keeping the process enjoyable. Beginners begin with rhythm, chord transitions, and strumming patterns, building the essential foundation needed for long-term growth. Intermediate learners are introduced to fingerstyle, scales, and improvisation, making lessons equally valuable for players at different skill levels.
Each session incorporates both technique and application. Students practice exercises that strengthen coordination and dexterity, followed by applying those skills to songs they enjoy. I also include practical music theory, connecting scales and chord progressions directly to real playing situations, so learners can understand and use concepts instead of simply memorizing them.
Lessons are flexible and tailored to individual goals. Some students may want to perform live, others may focus on songwriting, while some simply play for personal enjoyment. I adapt teaching methods to meet those goals while ensuring every learner gains universal skills that make them confident, expressive, and capable guitarists.
