About Ava
With 10 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in Composition (Guitar), I bring both knowledge and passion to lessons. I perform and compose regularly, keeping students connected to real music-making. Music is a creative, lifelong pursuit.
I focus on acoustic fingerstyle and classical guitar, teaching beginners and advanced students. Lessons emphasize technical skill, phrasing, and expressive nuance. Students develop both artistry and precision.
Creativity and personal expression are central to my approach. I integrate theory, composition, and performance into accessible lessons. Patience and curiosity are always encouraged.
Watching students grow in confidence and musicality is incredibly rewarding. My goal is to foster technical skill, expression, and a lifelong love of guitar.
