About Zinnia
My journey with guitar began with a strong interest in music and rhythm. This passion led me to complete a Bachelor’s in Music Performance, where I developed both technical and creative skills. Over the past 6 years, I have helped students learn guitar through structured lessons and supportive teaching methods.
My teaching approach focuses on patience, clarity, and encouragement. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adjust my lessons based on their pace and comfort level. I use simple explanations and consistent practice techniques to help students improve gradually. I also create a positive learning environment where students feel confident to learn.
I continue to practice guitar and explore different styles to improve my teaching. Watching students grow from beginners to confident players is very rewarding. Many learners who feel unsure at first begin to play smoothly and enjoy music. Helping them achieve this progress motivates me to continue teaching with dedication and care.

Learning guitar becomes easier when students understand how chords and rhythm work together instead of memorizing patterns without clarity. In my lessons, I focus on chord shapes, strumming techniques, finger movement, and basic music theory using simple and clear explanations. I break down each concept into small steps so students can follow comfortably and improve gradually. I also include popular songs and practice exercises to make learning more engaging and enjoyable. This helps students stay motivated and build confidence.
Lessons are structured based on the student’s level and comfort. Beginners focus on basic chords, simple strumming, and hand coordination. Intermediate learners work on smooth transitions, rhythm improvement, and playing complete songs. Advanced students focus on expression, fingerstyle techniques, and performance skills. I include regular practice routines so students can improve steadily. Feedback helps them correct mistakes and grow consistently.
As students continue learning, they begin to feel more confident playing guitar and expressing themselves through music. Many learners enjoy playing for themselves and others. This growth builds creativity, confidence, and musical understanding. My goal is to make guitar learning simple, enjoyable, and meaningful while helping students develop strong playing skills.
