About Daisy
I am a guitar tutor with 13 years of experience, holding a B.Mus in Contemporary Guitar and Composition. My love for guitar began with its versatility and ability to express emotion across countless styles. Over the years, I have taught learners from beginners to advanced musicians, helping them build confidence through structured progress and creative exploration. I believe guitar learning should feel joyful, motivating, and personally meaningful.
I specialize in rhythm development, chord fluency, and expressive playing. Lessons are designed around student goals, whether they want to accompany songs, play in bands, or explore improvisation. I create an encouraging environment where mistakes are part of learning, not something to fear. Feedback is always supportive, helping students grow steadily and confidently.
Outside teaching, I remain engaged with guitar through composing, arranging, and exploring new musical genres. Teaching is fulfilling because I watch students discover their musical voice and independence. My goal is to make guitar a lifelong companion for creativity, relaxation, and expression. Music becomes something students carry with pride and joy.

Guitar becomes exciting when students feel they can create music quickly while still developing strong foundations. In my lessons, I focus on helping learners build chord fluency, rhythm control, strumming stability, and finger coordination through practical and enjoyable learning. Students begin playing real songs early, which keeps motivation high and progress visible. Each session blends technique practice with creativity, helping learners feel connected to the instrument rather than stuck in repetitive drills. Whether students want to play casually, perform, or write music, lessons are designed to be inspiring and structured.
Teaching is adapted to each level. Beginners start with basic open chords, simple rhythms, timing confidence, and hand positioning. Intermediate learners explore barre chords, fingerstyle patterns, scale understanding, and smoother transitions. Advanced students develop improvisation, lead guitar phrasing, songwriting skills, tone shaping, and performance preparation. I also introduce theory concepts in an accessible way, helping students understand what they are playing rather than memorizing shapes.
Guitar learning builds confidence beyond music. Students develop patience, creativity, focus, and self-expression through consistent practice. My goal is to help learners feel proud of their sound and empowered through musical independence. Each lesson becomes a step toward freedom, joy, and lifelong connection with music.
