About Georgios Alexandros
My name is George and I am a Music Tutor and a Postgraduate Student of Music Education at Kingston University.
For the last five years I have been teaching guitar to students of all ages in Greece as well as Belgium. Through my method I have tried to find the best ways to support my students and introduce a process of learning which will help them reach their full potential.
As a guitar player I was a member in the group 200 guitars for 3 years where we performed in many famous Greek theatres as for the example of the Odeon of Herodes Atticus and the Megaron. I have also been a performer for the past 7 years both independently and as a member of a group.
Additionally, for the last few years I have been a member in several choirs. Since October, I have been participating in the European Union Choir which is a true combination of a friendly environment with professional work. I had also been a member of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens’ choir for three years. Through these experiences I learned how to work as part of a group even under difficult and stressful circumstances and to achieve positive results in a multicultural environment. During my participation in these choirs, we have taken part in many different concerts including a rendition of the famous Bizet's opera Carmen and J.S. Bach’s Mass in B Minor.
