About Andrew
I am a full-time musician .I have a B.S. degree in guitar performance from the Conservatory at Brooklyn College, NYC. I have been teaching privately for 20+ years. I teach any instrument that has a string on it, guitar , bass, banjo, mandolin, violin, viola, cello, tenor guitar, tenor banjo, ukulele, charango, balalaika, etc. I've taught 4 year olds and 84 year olds. Also, i have dealt with autistic and ADHD students. I also have the practical stage experience having played 1000's of gigs in classical, jazz, rock, blues, church, funk, country, oldies, etc. My students range from beginners to pro musicians.

I teach according to the students goals. I do not push a particular style on my students. I let them choose the direction they want to go in and then I show them what they need to do to get there.I like to do a lot of hands on, playing with the student. Through the years, I have developed many of my own teaching methods that yield the proper results

I charge $40 for the hour,$30 for 45 minutes, and $20 for a half hour.If you buy five lessons for full price , you will receive a sixth lesson free.
