About Laurle
Hi, I’m a guitar tutor with 11 years of experience, passionate about helping students unlock their full performance and creative potential. I hold an Associate Degree in Guitar Performance, which gives me a strong foundation in both technique and musical understanding. I specialize in preparing students for Rockschool, Trinity, and university-level guitar programs. My lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, whether it’s mastering repertoire, improving technique, or developing improvisation skills. I focus on building solid fundamentals while encouraging creative expression. I enjoy exploring all styles, from classical and jazz to rock and contemporary genres. Every lesson is designed to be engaging, interactive, and rewarding, helping students gain confidence both on stage and in practice. I believe that every student has unique musical potential. My goal is to inspire a lasting love for the guitar, while guiding each learner to achieve excellence in performance and creativity.

My teaching approach focuses on building strong foundational skills while keeping lessons fun and creative. I start by understanding each student’s goals and musical preferences. Whether you enjoy classical melodies or modern rock, I guide you to excel in your chosen style.
I combine practical guitar techniques with essential music theory, helping you read music, understand chords, and master scales. Lessons also incorporate rhythm training, ear development, and improvisation exercises. I introduce modern tools, including digital apps and recording software, to enhance learning and practice.
Every lesson is personalized to suit your pace and interests. We explore techniques like fingerstyle, strumming patterns, and soloing, as well as advanced concepts when ready. I encourage creativity through songwriting, arranging, and exploring different genres.
Performance skills are an important part of my method. I support students in preparing for recitals, auditions, or personal projects. My goal is to make each student confident, versatile, and passionate about music. Together, we develop skills, creativity, and a deep love for guitar.
