About Cody

Originally hailing from sunny Southern California, I have been playing guitar (as well as numerous other instruments) for just over 20 years, and working professionally in the music industry for close to a decade as a recording artist and composer. Despite studying Linguistics and Anthropology at university, I quickly changed direction and began writing and recording my own music and moved soon after into composing music for student films, indie games, and other small projects as well as recording for others' compositions.

About the lesson

Covering any (and all!) styles of guitar, I strive to engage with students and help them pursue their own goals and reach personalised milestones. These lessons are aimed at beginner to intermediate students of all ages, wherein I cover all aspects from technique to theory, the process of methods of songwriting, and even more technical aspects such as maintaining guitars, using various equipment, and recording. Lessons last 60 minutes on average and follow lesson plans catered to each student, providing as much or as little structure as they require. Above all else, my goal is to instil a passion for guitar playing in each of my students and for them to find the process of improvement highly fulfilling.

I do provide in-person lessons at Allen's Music Centre in Great Yarmouth for £16.50 for a half hour lesson, or £30 for a full hour. If you are interested in that, feel free to either contact me here with your phone number or email or contact them directly.
