About Tara
My passion for guitar began through fascination with live performances, songwriting, and creative musical expression during my teenage years. This interest inspired me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumental Music, a Master’s Degree in Guitar Performance, and later a PhD in Contemporary Guitar and Musical Interpretation. During the past 10 years, I have guided students from different musical backgrounds while helping them strengthen confidence and technical ability through supportive music instruction.
I believe music education should feel inspiring, practical, and emotionally rewarding for every learner regardless of previous experience. My teaching style focuses on patient instruction, practical playing, and expressive exploration that help students improve naturally while developing strong musical foundations. I encourage learners to ask questions openly and experiment creatively because confidence develops through active participation and consistent musical practice during lessons.
Outside teaching, I enjoy composing instrumental music, recording acoustic arrangements, and exploring blues, jazz, and contemporary guitar styles through creative projects. Staying actively connected to music helps me bring fresh inspiration and artistic perspective into lessons regularly. Teaching guitar is deeply meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students discover confidence and individuality through music. My goal is always to support learners in becoming expressive, skilled, and passionate musicians.

My guitar lessons focus on helping students enjoy music while developing strong technical control and expressive playing ability through practical learning experiences. I teach rhythm timing, chord fluency, fingerstyle coordination, strumming patterns, improvisation, and melodic phrasing in a relaxed environment where learners can improve steadily at their own pace. Students learn how strong technique supports creativity and expressive performance naturally through guided practice and musical exploration. Every lesson encourages patience, confidence, and artistic growth.
Lessons are carefully adapted according to each learner’s experience level and musical interests. Beginners focus on rhythm exercises, hand positioning, chord transitions, and melody playing, while advanced learners work on improvisation, solo development, advanced techniques, and performance preparation. I include listening exercises, guided repetition, backing-track practice, and musical analysis regularly because active participation strengthens understanding and confidence effectively. Students receive supportive guidance that helps them improve naturally without unnecessary pressure or discouragement during lessons.
I aim to create a welcoming atmosphere where students feel comfortable expressing themselves musically while building discipline and confidence naturally. Many learners initially struggle with coordination or stage nervousness, so I focus on gradual progress through encouragement and realistic goals. Over time, students improve timing, musicality, and expressive ability naturally. Guitar becomes much more meaningful when learners discover individuality, creativity, and emotional connection through music.
