About Renée
My interest in guitar began through a love of music and a curiosity about how melodies and rhythms work together. This passion led me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Modern Guitar Performance and pursue a career in teaching. During my 3 years of experience, I have worked with students of different ages and learning backgrounds.
I believe effective teaching starts with understanding each student's goals and learning style. My teaching approach focuses on building confidence through clear explanations, practical exercises, and supportive guidance. I enjoy helping learners overcome challenges and celebrate progress.
Outside teaching, I spend time performing, exploring new genres, and developing my own musical projects. These experiences help me bring fresh ideas into every lesson. Helping students enjoy music while building valuable skills remains one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

My guitar lessons are designed to help students build strong musical foundations while enjoying the process of learning and creating music. We focus on rhythm development, chord fluency, picking accuracy, strumming techniques, fretboard understanding, and timing control through structured exercises and practical musical examples. Every lesson encourages confidence and steady improvement.
As students advance, we explore fingerstyle methods, improvisation techniques, melodic phrasing, ear training, songwriting concepts, tone shaping, and performance preparation. Lessons are tailored to individual goals and musical interests so learners can progress in a meaningful and enjoyable way. Regular guidance helps students strengthen their skills while maintaining motivation.
I believe learning guitar should be inspiring, practical, and rewarding. My goal is to help students become independent musicians who can continue growing beyond lessons. Every session supports creativity, discipline, and long-term musical development.
