About Sienna
I am a guitar tutor with 9 years of experience and a PhD in Instrumental Music. My journey as a musician has included years of study, performance, and teaching students who wish to improve their musical abilities with confidence.
I create lessons that are encouraging, organized, and enjoyable. My teaching philosophy focuses on helping students understand music deeply while developing strong technical skills through consistent practice and supportive guidance.
Outside teaching, I enjoy arranging guitar music, recording instrumental compositions, and learning new performance techniques. These experiences keep my lessons engaging and motivate students to continue developing their own musical style with confidence.

My guitar lessons are designed to help students enjoy learning while developing reliable technical skills through practical instruction and regular practice. We begin with guitar tuning, posture, finger placement, rhythm exercises, chord transitions, and easy songs that provide a comfortable learning foundation. Every lesson includes demonstrations, guided activities, listening exercises, and simple explanations that help students understand every concept clearly. I encourage learners to practice consistently while enjoying every improvement they make along their musical journey.
As students gain confidence, we study scales, fingerstyle techniques, lead guitar playing, improvisation, chord progressions, rhythm development, ear training, music theory, tone control, and live performance preparation. Lessons also include songwriting, accompaniment techniques, creative exercises, and personalized practice schedules that strengthen technical ability while encouraging musical expression. Every lesson is carefully planned to support the learner's interests and goals.
My goal is to help students become confident guitar players who enjoy performing, creating, and sharing music with others. Every lesson builds technical precision, creativity, and lasting musical confidence through enjoyable and meaningful learning.
