About Oliver
My guitar lessons focus on helping students develop strong practical skills while enjoying the creative possibilities of music. We work on rhythm control, chord transitions, picking techniques, strumming patterns, fretboard knowledge, and timing through structured activities and real musical examples. Every lesson is designed to build confidence through consistent progress.
As students improve, we explore improvisation, fingerstyle playing, lead guitar concepts, tone creation, ear training, songwriting techniques, and performance preparation. Lessons are personalized to match individual goals and musical preferences. Regular guidance and constructive feedback help learners strengthen their abilities while staying motivated.
I believe learning guitar should be both educational and enjoyable. My goal is to help students become independent musicians who can continue developing their skills beyond lessons. Every session encourages creativity, discipline, and musical confidence.

My interest in guitar began with a fascination for how music can inspire people and tell stories. This passion led me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Music before earning a PhD in Guitar Performance Practice. During my 10 years of teaching experience, I have worked with students across a wide range of ages and skill levels.
I believe every learner benefits from clear instruction, patience, and encouragement. My teaching approach focuses on helping students understand music while building practical guitar skills. I enjoy adapting lessons to support individual learning styles and ambitions.
Outside teaching, I continue performing, composing, and studying different guitar traditions. These experiences enrich my lessons and allow me to bring real-world insights into the classroom. Helping students achieve confidence and enjoyment through music remains one of the most fulfilling aspects of my profession.
