I have played and recorded for over 40 years, have appeared with Greg Allman, Stray Cats, John Lee Hooker, John Mayall, and many others.....have been in the backing band of Bo Diddley and james Cotton. Currently have an album in the Blues charts

My approach is to prepare the student with a simple, repeatable base of knowledge upon which they can rely, while focusing on creativity and performance skills. In addition to providing useful theory, we will make "sounding good", and musical communication a point of emphasis. Immediate improvement AND long term building-blocks will both result from this approach. Chords will no longer be mystifying, while soloing will add confidence.
