Super Tutor

Andy is one of our best Acoustic Guitar tutors. High-quality profile, qualifications verified, organised and responsive to lesson requests, and appreciated by their students.

About Andy

I have been playing various forms of guitar-based music for 25 years. My practical experience includes concerts in UK, Europe and America. I have also taught friends and family on and off. I am now looking to pass on the benefit of my skills and knowledge, and "play it forward" to the next great talent. Could that be you?

About the lesson

I focus on both the player and the person. Everyone has talent, it's how that talent is nurtured and encouraged to come to the surface. I taught myself, but wish I had more resources to learn from back then. I want to make sure you can have the opportunity to learn and develop, the support and advice, but most importantly the fun and excitement of playing live music. I want to pass on the torch and watch that torch set the world alight.

Andy's response
Lincoln has shown a great attitude and emthusiasm for improving his ability on bass guitar. He is a keen but patient learner and is willing to get to grips with the theoretical aspect of his playing as well as the practical. A pleasure to teach.

Perfect! Andy is an excellent Guitar tutor who has helped me improve my playing immensely. He is very knowledgeable and patient, and although I wasn't a complete beginner when I started lessons with him, he has really helped me to improve.
He has always been very encouraging so that I now feel much more confident in my abilities. I am continuing to have lessons with Andy, and I can highly recommend him.

Andy's response
Gillian has embraced the challenge of improving her abilities on the acoustic guitar with gusto. She showed a very good understanding of what is required of her and communicated any difficulty she encountered clearly and promptly. I should also mention she has been very flexible with her learning times.

Andy has been tutoring my children for just under a year and they thoroughly enjoy their sessions with him. Andy is friendly, reliable and always positive, encouraging and approachable.
He is flexible in his approach and will adapt lessons according to what the children ask to be taught. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to others.
