Besides learning basic music theory related to guitar scales and chord patterns, the best way to learn the guitar is to jam along to some of your favorite tunes. I pay special emphasis on helping the students find their own sound, experiment with different patterns and styles, and learn the basics of music composition. Those students who want to get really into playing lead guitar, I can provide invaluable guidance to take their soloing skills to the next level.
