About Rina
My journey with guitar started from a deep passion for rhythm, melody, and storytelling through sound. I completed a Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance and have 9 years of teaching experience working with learners from diverse backgrounds and skill levels. Over time, I have developed a structured yet flexible teaching style that supports both technical growth and creative expression, helping students build confidence step by step.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, clarity, and personalized learning. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my explanations, pace, and exercises according to individual needs. I focus on helping students understand the reasoning behind techniques rather than just repeating patterns, which allows them to become independent and confident musicians. This method builds long-term musical strength and self-reliance.
Outside teaching, I continue exploring different guitar genres, practicing advanced techniques, and studying both classical and modern compositions. These experiences help me keep my lessons fresh, practical, and connected to real musical contexts. One of the most fulfilling parts of my work is witnessing students grow from uncertain beginners into expressive musicians who can confidently perform and enjoy their music. That transformation continues to inspire my dedication as both a teacher and a musician.

My guitar lessons focus on building strong technical foundations while also developing musical expression and creativity. I teach chord transitions, strumming patterns, fingerstyle techniques, scales, rhythm accuracy, tone control, improvisation basics, and musical phrasing. The learning process is structured to ensure steady progress without confusion or pressure.
Students are guided according to their skill level and personal goals. Beginners focus on basic chords, rhythm stability, finger placement, and simple strumming exercises. Intermediate learners develop smoother chord changes, fingerstyle fluency, timing accuracy, and expressive playing. Advanced students work on improvisation, solo performance, advanced techniques, and musical interpretation. Students preparing for exams or performances receive structured practice plans with clear milestones. Continuous feedback ensures consistent improvement and correction at every stage.
Learning guitar should feel inspiring, enjoyable, and rewarding. My lessons create a relaxed environment where students can explore music freely while building discipline and confidence. Over time, learners begin to develop their own musical voice and identity. My goal is to help students not only play guitar technically well but also understand music deeply and express themselves naturally through sound in both practice and performance.
