About Macy
I have been teaching guitar for 6 years and hold a PhD in Music Education. My teaching career has allowed me to work with students of different ages, backgrounds, and skill levels while helping them develop a genuine love for music. I enjoy seeing learners discover their potential through consistent effort and support.
My teaching philosophy focuses on patience, encouragement, and practical learning. I help students strengthen technical skills while also developing creativity and musical confidence. Every lesson is designed to provide a supportive environment where learners feel comfortable exploring new challenges.
Music has the ability to inspire growth, discipline, and self-expression. Helping students experience those benefits is one of the most rewarding parts of my profession. I look forward to supporting learners as they continue building their skills and enjoying the journey of learning guitar.

My guitar lessons are designed to help students build practical skills while enjoying every stage of learning. We cover rhythm playing, chord mastery, fingerstyle techniques, solo development, music theory, and performance preparation through structured and engaging lessons. Students learn through a balance of guidance, practice, and creativity.
I use real songs, technical exercises, listening activities, and personalized challenges to keep lessons interesting and productive. Students improve coordination, timing, tone control, and musical understanding while developing confidence in their abilities. Every lesson is adjusted to support steady progress and long-term improvement.
Whether a learner is completely new to guitar or already has experience, lessons are tailored to match individual goals. I provide clear feedback, achievable milestones, and consistent encouragement throughout the learning process. My goal is to help students become skilled, confident, and expressive musicians.
