I integrate my 13 years of gigging experience into every session to ensure that reading tabs or refining rhythm guitar feels like a musical conversation. Grade exam candidates find that my background in popular music brings a fresh perspective to formal requirements. Returning learners often appreciate how I handle guitar tuning and maintenance as part of the core experience.
Performance-focused students will find that fingerpicking is broken down into manageable pieces to build confidence. "Spending 13 years performing across the Australian Latin music circuit taught me that music is a language rather than just a collection of notes. My BMus Popular Music from Queensland Conservatorium and my Licenciatura from Argentina provide the academic backbone for my practical gigging experience. I guide grade exam candidates, returning learners, and performance-focused students through the nuances of reading tabs and rhythm guitar.
Maintenance and tuning are as vital to my teaching as the actual fingerpicking techniques we explore together. Songwriting allows my students to connect with their instruments on a personal level that feels truly rewarding. It is honestly satisfying to watch a student find their own voice through the strings."
