About Emily
I am a dedicated guitar tutor with over 4 years of experience in blues guitar. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Guitar Performance. My lessons are tailored to suit each student. I teach all levels from Beginner to Advanced.
I specialize in slide guitar, open tunings, and fingerpicking styles. These are key to authentic blues playing. I help students develop both technique and feel. Learning is always practical and clear.
I teach Delta, Chicago, and Piedmont blues styles. Students learn the unique rhythm and phrasing of each. I guide them to play with authenticity. They also build their own musical voice.

My teaching approach focuses on helping guitar students become fluent music readers. I use a simple and structured method. Students learn standard notation and tablature together. This builds strong understanding.
