About Iris
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Classical Guitar and have taught guitar for 7 years. Music has always been a powerful way for me to tell stories and connect with people. Teaching gives me the opportunity to share that experience while helping students discover their own musical voice.
I enjoy working with learners interested in songwriting, accompaniment, melodic expression, and creative performance. Lessons focus not only on technique but also on helping students communicate emotion through melody, harmony, and phrasing. Every student is encouraged to develop their unique musical identity.
Outside teaching, I spend time composing, performing, and exploring different styles of music. These experiences continue to inspire my lessons and creative approach. I believe every student has a story worth sharing, and the guitar can be a wonderful tool for expressing it.

My guitar lessons combine technical development with creativity and musical enjoyment. Students learn bending techniques, vibrato control, solo phrasing, tone shaping, rhythm accuracy, and stage confidence through practical exercises and real musical examples. I use storytelling, humor, and familiar music references to keep lessons engaging and memorable. Learning is structured while remaining enjoyable.
Some learners need encouragement to build confidence, while others seek deeper technical understanding or greater expressive range. I adapt each lesson to match those needs. Students receive clear guidance, regular feedback, and achievable challenges that help them progress steadily without unnecessary pressure.
Every lesson aims to strengthen both skill and musical confidence. As students improve, they develop stronger control, creativity, and personal style. My goal is to help learners feel comfortable expressing themselves through guitar while enjoying every stage of their musical journey.
