About Archie
Music has always been my tool for self-expression.
I've studied music for over 10 years, including 6 years of full-time music education specialising in Music Technology at the BRIT School, followed by 4 years studying Electronic and Produced Music at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama.
The problem solving, creative thinking and limitless expression of produced music instantly hooked me and has allowed me to develop a diverse creative practice and musical output. I have since transitioned to the professional music industry as a performer and artist alongside production and mixing work. I truly believe in the power of music production for musical development, self-expression and as a source of joy and my continued passion for this craft is why I love teaching so much.
My main creative outlet is a 12-piece jazz hip-hop band I front as a lead vocalist and executive producer. Notable venues include - 12-month residency at Notting Hill Arts Club, Ronnie Scott's, UNDR.

I'll tailor every lesson to how you actually learn and what you want to get out of it. I offer 45 minutes lessons, either as a structured weekly course or standalone drop-in sessions depending on what suits you.
I work hands-on and project-based — rather than abstract exercises, you're building and finishing real tracks from the start. For students building foundations, I cover the technical side (DAW workflow, sound design, arrangement, mixing) alongside the theory behind why choices work, so you're not just copying steps but understanding the "why." For more experienced producers, I focus on critical listening and targeted feedback — bringing in your own work and identifying exactly what's holding a mix or arrangement back, then showing you the technique to fix it.
Lessons are suitable for all whether that's a beginner building foundational production skills through to intermediate/advanced producers wanting technical feedback on their own work. Suitable for teens and adults alike.
