About Phoenix
I’m a First Class Biomedical Science graduate who loves everything science and maths. I have experience teaching to younger students and want to help you reach and excel beyond your targets. I’m an aspiring clinical researcher and have interned with the University of Oxford working with mice to explore the causative relationship between maternal hyperthermia and congenital heart disease. I’ve worked with people from all walks of life and want to build a strong relationship with my students to understand their needs which I use to personalise our lessons. I love nature and I’m also driven to advocate for the education rights of women and girls in rural communities. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you in excelling!

I personalise my lessons to meet the tutee’s needs and make sessions fun and interactive to promote knowledge retention. After each session I also provide take-home questions for the student to work on which covers the session’s topic, so that they can put their knowledge to practice and recognise the areas they still need additional support with.
