About Nyra

I’ve been teaching guitar professionally for more than 7+ years and hold a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Guitar Studies. I’m especially passionate about helping students develop advanced ear training skills. Transcribing solos by ear is one of my favorite areas to teach. It builds independence and sharpens musical memory. We also work on identifying chord progressions directly from recordings. This improves harmonic understanding. I guide interested students through practical perfect pitch exercises. Consistency plays a huge role in success. My teaching style is focused and encouraging. I emphasize real musical understanding over shortcuts. Strong listening skills change how you play. My goal is to help students trust their ears.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching guitar is built around creativity, structure, and confidence. I help students understand how music is created from simple ideas. Technique supports expression at every level. Songwriting is taught as an active process on the guitar. We explore chord progression choices and emotional impact. This helps students make stronger musical decisions.
