About Nate

Hi! My name is Nate, and I am a visual artist currently residing in Wellington. I have around 5 years of experience in graphic design, video editing, and mixed media work, and have recently picked up photography and videography into my creative arsenal.

I am proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, and majority of my work involves both analog and digital techniques. I find combining these methodologies together leads me to more interesting and "human" outcomes than just working from a purely digital perspective.

I am constantly on the hunt for new, experimental design and video techniques, and I am just as excited to share my knowledge with you. I take pride in my work as I find it not only fun to create, but also fun to look back on and appreciate the leaps and bounds that I've made since beginning my journey. The idea of progressing and improving on my craft keeps me at it day-to-day, and I hope you can find that same passion.

About the lesson

I will teach you the fun, experimental, and exciting ways of mixed media design and video editing. With around 5 years perfecting and learning the ropes, I can introduce you to many eye-catching ways to make your own collage-style designs and animations.

I am currently studying at Victoria University in Wellington, and I am available to anyone that similarly shares this passion for creating! I used to tutor in guitar, and now I want to share my knowledge in this field instead.

As a freelancer, I have done a lot of work for both local clients here in New Zealand, and overseas clients on a bigger scale. I am excited to get started on this journey and share what I know!
