About Sophie
Hi! My name is Sophie Reid. I am a second-year student at the University of Warwick doing a Bsc in Economics and Politics. I am 20 years old, and passed the IB with 44 points in 2021. I have tutored with Lanterna for over a year and helped at afterschool homework clubs regularly for years before that. I love teaching informally, especially to IB students, because I feel like a down-to-earth older cousin here to help you will all that work!

Flipped lessons are usually my go-to, where you would do a past paper and we go through your essay together. I tailor my approach for each student. In the past, I've assigned follow-up outlining practice, analysis practice and further questions to push your ideas just that little bit further!
