About Tessa
I have been teaching clarinet for 2+ years privately and have been playing clarinet for 15 years! I tutored in highschool, and there grew my love for teaching music. I took my passion to college to learn the best techniques to teach every kind of clarinetist to ensure everyone would feel comfortable and confident in their playing abilities, and it has been extremely successful with high NYSSMA ratings from each of my students yearly!

I love teaching and making it fun for each and every student. I find different ways to be engaging and use all different types of music to benefit all age ranges and needs of the player. Every student has different preferences and I wish to meet every child where they are at to make sure they are having fun and becoming the best musician possible.
