About Damiano
Graduated in Psychology with 1st level master's degree in Specific Learning Disorders. For 3 years I have been managing, together with a psychologist colleague, a specialist after-school program for students with DSA and special educational needs. I have many years of experience in school and extracurricular throughout the compulsory school sector. I provide private or group lessons to primary and secondary school students. Given my training, I have preparation concerning school problems and difficulties with the use of specific compensatory strategies and tools for the various cases. The approach to the various subjects starts from the knowledge of the pupil's path, his methodology analyzing strengths and critical points. The lessons aim, in addition to the enhancement of knowledge, also to the improvement of the methodology, the organization and the enhancement of any deficit areas, with the aim of making the student more and more autonomous and safe. For this reason, the lessons will always be carried out in an active and participatory way by the student, seeking a continuous and informal comparison, in order to make him / her aware of his qualities and motivate him directly to overcome obstacles one step at a time.
